Romania in presa internationala 6

Hungarian-Romanian cross-border power line inaugurated

Wednesday, 10 December 2008
Budapest, December 10 (MTI) - Hungarian transmission system operator Mavir and its Romanian counterpart Transelectrica on Wednesday inaugurated a 400kV power line between Bekescsaba (SE Hungary) and Arad, Romania. The 56-kilometre section of the line in Romania cost EUR 25.7 million to build. The 38-kilometre Hungarian section cost 4.2 billion forints (about EUR 16 million) to build.

Atentie guvernanti.

From the UK to Bulgaria: bad safety in the European workplace

The EU sorely lacks directives for security and danger prevention at work. The principle norms are the 1989 Security Directive, which imposes rules to prevent the risk of accidents in the workplace, and the Seveso Directive (and its updates), which implements monitoring and strict rules for the most dangerous industrial sites.
Romania. A new law on the health and safety of workers, approved in March 2006, gives particular importance to the responsibility of heads of companies.

Siguranta in munca o problema neglijata, in articol se trec in revista tarile europee, si concluzia este cuprinsa in titlu, mai sunt multe de facut.
