Not too long ago it was riding the wave of Eastern Europe's economic boom. With 8% annual growth, Romania - one of the newest members of the European Union - was the envy of Old Europe, seemingly impervious to the global economic decline.

Romania: Upground Estates suspends negotiations with funds

The Upground Estates developer, which sold the Romanian residential Upground project to Deutsche Bank for EUR 340 million in May 2008, announced that negotiations with several investment funds interested in acquiring a large number of housing units in the Upground project were suspended due to the financial crisis.
Tudor Mihai, the project's Sales Manager expects the real estate market to stabilize as of fall 2009, and until then the company is preparing a promotion campaign for the end of 2008, which will include price discounts for apartments.

Deci inca o recunoastere a crizei imobiliare, asteptam sa vedem promotiile anuntate. Apartamentele sunt se pare in doua blocuri turn de 16 etaje in constructie in perimetrul Bulevardul Barbu Vacarescu, Fabrica de Glucoza si Soseaua Petricani.
Despre ele s-a mai scris, ce nu stiam este ca se si mai construiesc.
